It is interesting to see that the psaux device is not sharing an 
interrupt with anybody else and no interrupts are beeing received.

Once gpm is disabled and the device closed everything returns to its
normal state.

I think it is also worthwhile to note that disabling the toshiba
workaround results in the same symptoms except for the fact that the
"AT keyboard not present ?" warning is not beeing printed anymore.
