RealTek RTL8139 Fast Ethernet only works as a module?

James, we have several HP Pavillion 85xx boxes with RealTek RTL8139 Fast
Ethernet
NICs and they all work OK when they are compiled into the kernel or loaded as

modules.  Perhaps something else is wrong in the .config file.
