Booting Linux past the 8Gig boundary?

Tried that, and this time LILO did try to write something to the boot 
sector of the disk (or so I thought), but System Commander would 
still not boot it (saying the boot sector was invalid). If I let 
system commander boot it anyway, it naturally hangs the machine.

Any other ideas?
