[Ayuda] Que tan conveniente es eso de estudiar el entorno de Unix usando Cygwin?

La idea surgio, por que es empeze a considerar que tal vez, es mas facil
comenzar a migrar de windows a Linux
de una forma no tan BRUSCA, probablemente sea una buena manera de comenzar a
comparar comandos de windows contra comandos de LInux que definitivamente
son mas complejos pero mas completos, permiten hacer mas cosas.
De hecho es como ir soltando una mano pero sin soltar la otra hasta agarrar
mas confianza...
Estaba yo viendo que hasta un KDE o GNOME puedes correr sin salirte del
windows.. excelente no??
o que tu que opinas????

Ok, vale tu pregunta, pero por que no mejor aprender utilizando
GNU/Linux??, es mejor que te inviten (o que invites) a alguien a
utilizar GNU/Linux en vez de Cygwin, la razon, simple, no necesitas
Windows para aprender el entorno de Unix.
